Bonnaroo 2009, Part 2

Waking up Saturday morning we felt pretty good all in all considering the string of late night and primitive accommodations. We sat enjoying our coffee, plotting our afternoon and evening. Two awesome days down, two more to go! We just hoped that we had the stamina and nice weather to make it a memorable experience. (more…)

Robert Randolph & The Family Band

Straight up … I didn’t have tickets to the Sunday night (June 28, 2008) Robert Randolph concert up at the Fraze Pavilion. But like everyone around here knows … you don’t really need tickets to enjoy the outdoor show up at Lincoln Park. The sound is so good just walking (or biking) around, you can get a clear idea of whats going on inside. (more…)

Bonnaroo 2009, Part 1

For the second year in a row my wife and I descended upon the musical mecca known simply as the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Knowing that seeing every set, or even full sets of the shows we wanted to see was going to be impossible due to this year’s incredible lineup, we attacked each day with the attitude of seeing even a few moments of our favorites was fine by us! This is a chronicling of what our four ears feasted on for our favorite weekend of the year. (more…)
